Last week Red Rock has successfully performed Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for the fourth 3D Motion Compensated Crane for Dogger Bank Wind Farm. The crane will soon be shipped and installed onboard a Service Operation Vessel (SOV) in Vietnam. The 2T 3D Motion Compensated Crane will be used for maintenance work for one of the world’s largest wind farms.
Red Rock 2t 3D Motion Compensated Offshore Crane during FAT
The Red Rock 3D Motion Compensated Offshore Crane comes in 2T, 5T and 10T editions with a range from 25m to 35m. It compensates for all vessel movements – heel, trim, heave and sway. In addition, the crane also compensates for external force as wind etc.
