Red Rock has successfully performed Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for the 30T Active Heave Compensated (AHC) Offshore Crane for Seaway7’s new build, Seaway Alfa Lift, a large heavy lift crane vessel operating in the offshore wind market. The crane was tested with representatives from both DNV and Client. After packaging the crane will be sent to the Netherlands for installation and commissioning.

The Seaway Alfa Lift is a 51,000 dwt semi-submersible installation vessel of Ulstein design, which features a 3000t main crane and 10,000 m² free deck. The 30T compact telescopic offshore crane will assist Seaway Alfa Lift’s main crane during works alongside monopiles and transition pieces.
