The Red Rock Boat Landing Crane is installed onboard Service Operations Vessels (SOV). Typical tasks for the boat landing crane is lifting cargo and personnel to and from Crew Transfer Vessels (CTV)  and/or Daughter Crafts. The crane is an important addition to the mission equipment that will increase the efficiency of the SOV. While the 3d Motion Compensated Crane and the gangway is preparing for maintenance task for the wind generator, the boat landing can keep the logistics going uninterrupted on the SOV.

Red Rock Boat Landing Offshore Crane

The Red Rock Boat Landing Crane is type approved by DNV according to DNVGL-ST-0378. The crane has a compact knuckle and telescopic design which allows more deck space when the crane is not in use. The capacity of the crane is 2T and maximum outreach of 12 m. The crane is approved for Ship-to-Ship and has Constant Tension (CT) included. The CT allows for “wave riding” function to increase safety when doing lift offs in high sea states.
