Red Rock AS has signed a contract with Seaway 7 for delivery of a 30T Active Heave Compensated (AHC) Offshore Crane for Offshore Wind. The AHC crane will be installed onboard the Seaway Alfa Lift. The vessel is currently being built at the China Merchant Heavy Industry shipyard in China.
The Seaway Alfa Lift is a 51,000 dwt semi-submersible installation vessel of Ulstein design, which features a 3000t main crane and 10,000 m² free deck.
The 30T compact telescopic offshore crane will assist Seaway Alfa Lift’s main crane during monopile installation. The crane is scheduled to be delivered to a European yard within Q1 2024.
