2023 has kicked-off with a line of successful factory acceptance tests for Red Rock’s custom-made cranes for wind farm support vessels (SOV).
Boat landing crane with Personnel Lift, AOPS/MOPS, Constant Tension and DNV 0378 Offshore Crane type approved.
In January alone, three offshore rated boat landing and service cranes have undergone factory acceptance tests (FAT) and are on their way to customers. The Red Rock type-approved boat landing and service cranes have a capacity of 2t at up to 12m and are capable of ship-to-ship transfer including constant tension. Together with the well-proven Red Rock 3D-compensated crane, smaller service cranes and davits, the boat landing cranes are a part of Red Rock’s solid portfolio of products for wind farm support vessel. Additional 3D-compensated cranes, boat landing cranes and service cranes for wind farm support vessels are scheduled for testing and delivery throughout 2023.
